Our Distinguished Speaker
Hi, I’m Amanda Lendrum – though most people call me Mandy.
I’m a few months away from turning fifty-one, my pronouns are she/her, and I’m a passionate advocate for creating safe, compassionate spaces where we can explore, learn, and grow together. I believe in the power of meaningful conversation, shared stories, and the deep wisdom that comes from being heard.
I’ve been married for 29 years to an incredible man, and we have a wonderful son and daughter-in-law who fill our lives with joy – alongside our three crazy, beautiful dogs who keep things lively at home. I’m a lifelong learner, a curious soul who finds comfort in quiet research, new discoveries, and heartfelt exchanges with others.
My own perimenopause journey began in my early forties, but like many women, I wasn’t truly heard until I was 48. That experience lit a fire in me – to empower other women with the knowledge, tools, and support I wish I had earlier. I’m now a certified Menopause Coach and NLP Master Practitioner, dedicated to helping others navigate this powerful life stage with clarity, dignity, and grace.
I started the Wisdom Weave Blog to share my experiences and insights, and to offer a place where women can connect, feel seen, and be reminded that they’re not alone. My hope is that through honest dialogue and shared wisdom, we can all find peace, strength, and a renewed sense of self during life’s most transformative seasons.
